A tactical flight exercise with the crews of long-range Tu-22M3 bombers was held in the Kaluga Region.
During the exercises, long-range aviation pilots worked out the tasks of organizing duty in the air in a given area, and also launched guided aircraft missiles at designated targets at the training ground.
"The flight and tactical exercises were conducted according to the combat training plan. The personnel prepared aviation equipment, weapons of destruction. The crews carried out missile launches, destroying targets at the test site. All the crews landed at the home airfield without any comments, " said Colonel Andrey Samoilov, acting commander of the aviation regiment.
