Earlier, Putin congratulated the personnel of the crews of ships participating in the main naval parade on the Navy Day. The Russian leader also visited Kronstadt to inspect the ships before the naval parade.
The parade is attended by 4,000 Navy servicemen, more than 50 ships, boats and submarines, as well as 48 aircraft and helicopters of naval aviation, the Kremlin reported.
