TSAMTO, July 22. PJSC UAC and Shvabe Holding, members of the Rostec State Corporation, have signed an agreement for the development and supply of the KOEPS-75 round-the-clock optoelectronic sighting system for the Checkmate light tactical aircraft (LTS).
The agreement was signed by Yuri Slyusar, General Director of UAC, and Alexey Patrikeev, head of Shvabe Holding, as part of the MAKS-2021 business program.
KOEPS-75 was developed by the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E. S. Yalamov (UOMZ) of the Shvabe holding. In accordance with the requirements of customers, the KOEPS-75 in the basic version can be supplemented with landing and defense stations.
"The key factors for the successful completion of the task of equipping the new Russian fighter with optoelectronic equipment are the quality, economy and timing of work. Shvabe Holding has all the necessary competencies to solve the tasks set for us. "LTS Checkmate is an advanced aviation complex that assumes maximum possibilities for adaptation to the needs of the customer, minimum operating costs, versatility. We will improve the characteristics of the aircraft, using the potential and achievements of Shvabe and other co-operators, design and create blocks of a new aircraft in a short time and at a given product cost, " said Yuri Slyusar, General Director of UAC.
