The Russian Helicopters holding company plans to issue a European certificate for the KA-32A11M helicopter, upgraded for fire extinguishing.
The start of sales in the European Union will allow the KumAPP enterprise to be loaded with orders for many years, the press service of the head of Bashkiria reported.
"Our plans are to issue a European certificate for a helicopter manufactured in Bashkortostan in order to expand the geography of our supplies to the EU countries. We believe that the Ka-32A11M multifunctional vehicle will be in demand on the international market, since it meets all the requirements imposed by the fire services. The new orders will allow the Kumertau enterprise to be loaded with work for many years to come, "the words of Andrey Boginsky, General Director of Russian Helicopters JSC, are quoted in the message.
The upgraded Ka-32A11M helicopter, equipped with a fire extinguishing system, was presented at the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon. The car received more powerful engines, this allowed to increase its load capacity.
TASS notes that one more feature of the helicopter was the glass cabin, which facilitates the work of the crew with additional navigation, optoelectronic and search equipment, and a fire extinguishing system.
