Russia is currently bringing the entire line of drones to the world market — from ultralight to heavy. This was announced by the head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, reports Interfax on Wednesday, July 21.
"We entered the global UAV market with some delay, but at the moment Russia is rapidly reducing it," Mikheev said.
He also announced the start of the export of helicopter-type drones and multi-rotor UAVs, which are being developed by Rostec enterprises.
Earlier in July, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a speech at the MAKS-2021 Aerospace Salon , said that drones, as well as robotic complexes and artificial intelligence will become the future of domestic aviation.
Before that, the American magazine The National Interest noted that Russian-made UAVs can catch up with American and Turkish drones in their capabilities. In particular, the publication drew attention to such" potentially deadly "models as" Orion"," Altius-U"," Sirius"," Helios"," Thunder "and"Hunter".
