Currently, the documents for its adoption are being approved, Alexander Kochkin, executive director of the Technmash concern of the Rostec state Corporation, said in an interview with TASS at the MAKS-2021 air show.
"The new aircraft missile "Broneboyschik" is designed to destroy ground targets on various attack and transport-assault helicopters, Su-25 attack aircraft, and other military aircraft. Currently, the documents are being processed and approved for the adoption of the missile by the Russian military department, " he said.
According to Kochkin, the issue of starting serial deliveries will be resolved after the release of the relevant administrative documents. "Taking into account the time parameters of the formation of the Russian Defense Ministry's procurement plans and the technological cycle of manufacturing Armored truck missiles, their deliveries to the troops can begin no earlier than 2023," he said.
The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 takes place from July 20 to 25 in Zhukovsky, near Moscow.
