ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow region/, July 21. /TASS/. The United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) is developing a hybrid power plant (GSU) designed for various vessels. This was reported to TASS during the MAKS-2021 air show in the UEC.
"One of the goals of the current research work is to create a 200-250 kW marine GSU demonstrator," the agency interlocutor said.
According to the UEC, high-speed small vessels of various purposes, including traveling, rescue and patrol vessels, can be potential objects of application of the demonstrator being created. "In addition, the resulting scientific and technical reserve will be used to create GSU vessels of a larger dimension," the UEC added.
The MAKS-2021 air Show takes place from July 20 to 25 in Zhukovsky, near Moscow.
