The first contracts have already been signed, said the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev
ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow region/, July 20. /TASS/. Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec state Corporation) is fulfilling a contract for the supply of Orion-E unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced to journalists during the MAKS-2021 air show by Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport.
"The first contracts have already been signed and are being implemented. The intelligence and observation option has been signed and is being implemented, " Mikheev said.
According to him, the image of the export-oriented Orion-E attack UAV is now being formed. "We will present it in the near future. Negotiations are underway on the strike, "the head of Rosoboronexport added.
"This is a trend," he summed up.
Russia is already implementing contracts for the supply of Repellent and Pantsir systems for combating drones to foreign customers, Mikheev said.
"We already have contracts for our anti-drone systems, such as Repellent, including our bestseller Pantsir, "he said. Our enterprises are ready to implement all requests, " he said.
Currently, Russia has a complex of electronic warfare "Repellent Patrol", capable of suppressing UAVs at a distance of up to 20 km, the complexes "Dome" and "Rubezh-Automatika", which conduct continuous monitoring and create a protective dome over the object, capable of repelling attacks by individual drones and their massive use from various directions and heights within a radius of at least 3 km.
As a striking force for the physical destruction of UAVs, Rosoboronexport offers short-range air defense systems to the foreign market, in particular the Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex (ZRPK) and the Tor-type anti-aircraft missile system. Complexes of these classes are capable of effectively destroying various means of air attack, including UAVs. ZRPK "Pantsir-S1M" has rocket and cannon weapons and destroys air targets at a range of up to 30 km and up to 18 km in height.
