TSAMTO, July 16. The military personnel of the Central Military District artillery unit stationed in Kuzbass developed and presented for the first time an automated fire control system, which included the R-187 "Azart" radio station and an automated workplace for a senior battery officer.
The author's development was presented at the exhibition of achievements of inventive and rationalizing activities of the Central Military District in the district house of officers in Yekaterinburg.
Using the R-187 "Azart" radio station and a program for conducting artillery calculations of their own design, the servicemen of the Central Military District reduced the time in conducting operational calculations during the preparation of battery fire and transmitting them in automated mode to the command and observation post.
In total, more than 20 works of military specialists of formations and military units of the Urals, Siberia and the Volga Region were presented at the exposition of military inventions and innovation proposals, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
