Moscow. July 16. INTERFAX-Anti-aircraft gunners of the motorized rifle division of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (SEO) in Chechnya destroyed an unmanned strike aircraft of a conditional enemy, the press service of the SEO reports.
"The crews of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) made a 50-kilometer march, during the movement, the servicemen repelled the attack of the saboteurs of the conditional enemy with dense fire from small arms," the report says.
The personnel of the calculations of the Tor-M2 air defense system worked out the loading of launchers, search, detection, tracking and destruction of air targets.
More than 250 military personnel of the Southern Military District took part in the exercise, about 60 units of weapons, military and special equipment were involved.
