They want to make a sea scout out of the new Russian passenger aircraft Il-114-300. It is supposed to be used to search for submarines and surface ships.
To do this, the Kasatka-E complex will be put on the plane, Sputnik Radio reports. This complex is able to solve several tasks - to detect objects under water and on the surface, to conduct monitoring, search and rescue operations and to ensure safety in the marine zone.
RG has already written that the new Il-114-300 aircraft will be shown at the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon. Although the aircraft was designed, tested and even launched into a series back in the Soviet Union, today it is a completely new, completely modernized version of this prototype. The aircraft has great prospects in both civil and military aviation.
