MOSCOW, July 15-RIA Novosti. The Techmash concern will present for the first time at the MAKS-2021 air show an unguided S-13B aircraft missile of increased efficiency, the press service of the enterprise reported.
"The center of the exhibition, located in the pavilion of the Technodinamika holding, will be a product of the Novosibirsk Artificial Fiber Plant, demonstrated for the first time - an unguided S-13B aircraft missile of increased efficiency," the message says.
The missile, designed to destroy both easily invulnerable equipment and military equipment in reinforced concrete shelters, is capable of penetrating through up to six meters of soil or one meter of reinforced concrete covered with soil to a thickness of two to three meters. The missile can destroy up to 20 square meters of the runway.
It is noted that the 122 mm caliber ammunition has a switchable initiation unit before the flight task, due to which the missile combines the capabilities of the S-13T and S-13OF. The first position of the block causes an instantaneous detonation of the warhead, which gives an explosion on the surface, as from a S-13OF missile. The other two positions give a small or large deceleration – the explosion can occur at a depth of up to six meters, as when using the S-13T rocket.
In addition, for the first time, Techmash will present models of the latest heavy flamethrower system Tosochka and the remote mining engineering system Agriculture, developed by the Ganichev Alloy NGO. Also, the combined exhibition "Technodinamiki" will show shells for multiple launch rocket systems "Grad" and "Tornado-G", TOS-1A and the S-8OFP aviation missile.
