TSAMTO, July 12. The AS-30 deep-sea rescue vehicle from the rescue detachment of Troops and forces in the North-East of Russia (OKVS) will undergo factory repairs with modernization in St. Petersburg.
Currently, the AS-30 device has been delivered to one of the ship repair enterprises of the northern capital, where, in accordance with the contract, specialists have begun to diagnose the condition of systems and aggregates. According to the plan, the device expects repair of engines, navigation and radio equipment, modernization of communication facilities.
After the repair, the deep-water vehicle will continue to perform tasks to ensure rescue operations on the water as part of the permanent readiness forces of the OKVS.

The rescue deep-water vehicle of the project 1855 "Prize" AS-30 was built at the Krasnoe Sormovo plant in Nizhny Novgorod. It is equipped with the latest telemetry equipment and is capable of operating at depths up to 1 thousand m.
