The head of the Technodinamika holding, Igor Nasenkov, clarified that the main quality of the new systems is controllability, the parachute can turn around the 360-degree axis in 12 seconds
MOSCOW, July 9. /TASS/. The new Cadet-100D parachute systems are planned to be delivered to the troops as early as 2023 to replace the main parachute of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation D-10. This was announced to journalists by Igor Nasenkov, General Director of the Technodinamika holding of the Rostec State Corporation.
We expect to supply the Cadet-100D in 2023. To complete all the tests in 2022, " he said.
The mass of the landing with the Cadet-100D parachute system can reach 160 kg, the vertical speed of the fall is not higher than 5 m / s. The most important quality is controllability, the parachute can turn around the 360-degree axis in 12 seconds. "The parachute can go back, this is one of the requirements of the Airborne Forces to avoid a collision during a mass landing. Despite the fact that the parachute is round, it has very good handling, it can go back at a speed of about 4 m / s, " the head of the holding said.
For this parachute, a suspension system has also been created, to which a container is quickly attached, where it is possible to place loads up to 50 kg.
In addition, as Nasenkov noted, the holding's specialists are creating training parachute systems for the Cadet-75 and Cadet-100 aircraft. Their preliminary tests are planned to be completed this year.
