Russian artillery has traditionally been considered one of the best in the world, which has been repeatedly confirmed by numerous wars and military conflicts.
However, in recent decades there has been some lag in a number of characteristics. For example, self-propelled artillery installations adopted in Germany, France, China, South Korea and Turkey began to surpass domestic ones in terms of firing range.
Moreover, foreign manufacturers continue to actively work in this direction, and their guns will be beaten even further.
According to military experts, a high-quality opening from foreign competitors will ensure the adoption of the 2S35 "Coalition-SV" self-propelled gun, which is capable, according to published data, of destroying the enemy at a distance of 80 kilometers. Effective ammunition of a new generation, including adjustable ones, is being created for it.
It is expected that in the coming years, these combat vehicles will begin to enter service with artillery formations of the Russian ground forces.
