The plane, in principle, turns out to be quite good, the deputy Prime Minister believes

"We have been fighting with the Il-112 for the last three years. The situation is shifting for the better. In principle, the car turns out to be quite good, " Borisov said at a meeting at the Voronezh Joint-stock Aircraft Construction Company, the manufacturer of these machines.
He noted that the plant on the third aircraft should show the achievement of the specified characteristics, and so far the obligations to the Ministry of Defense in this regard have not yet been fulfilled.
"Until you confirm the flight characteristics of the Il-112, it is pointless to talk about serial contracts," Borisov added.
After the launch of the aircraft into mass production, according to the deputy chairman of the government, the enterprise "will be provided with orders for the Il-112B in the long term."
Earlier it was repeatedly reported that the plane turned out to be too heavy.

Export deliveries
Borisov also noted that the new Russian military transport aircraft Il-112B can be exported in the future. "For sure, the car will have prospects for export deliveries, because a cluster of such cars is now in great demand," the deputy prime minister said.
