MOSCOW, July 5/ Radio Sputnik. The world's most powerful icebreaker "Russia" has been laid in the Far East, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He also said that now the construction of a "grandiose shipyard" is in full swing in the region, the dry dock of which has already been completed. Borisov's words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The speed of the "Russia" will be 22 knots, the power will be 120 megawatts. The length of the nuclear icebreaker is 209 meters, the width is 47.7 meters. The vessel is able to overcome a four-meter layer of ice.
