In the Moscow region, at the Alabino training ground, servicemen of the Taman Motorized Rifle Division of the Guards Tank Red Banner Army of the Western Military District (ZVO) worked out actions to destroy low-flying air targets from 12.7-mm large-caliber machine guns "Cord".
At a distance of 300 to 1.5 thousand meters from the shooter standing in the tank tower, targets simulating enemy aircraft were raised for 15 seconds.
The tankers hit all air targets, after which they passed the standards for shooting small arms from the tank tower and throwing a hand grenade.
In total, more than 180 servicemen took part in the shooting, more than 70 units of weapons and military equipment of the Taman Motorized Rifle Division of the ZVO were involved.
