In 1990, the Swedish Navy adopted a new landing boat CB90. The Combat Boat 90 Half, also known as the Stridsbåt 90 H, can carry 18 landing troops in a small-arms-protected hull and reach a speed of 40 knots (74 km/h).
In 2017, upgraded CB90 HSM were ordered for the needs of the fleet, which will enter the combat service of the Swedish Fleet from 2019. The new video from Saab describes the main changes in the CB90 HSM compared to the basic version of the boat, as well as shows the key features of this combat unit.
