Iguana Pro
The French company Iguana is ready to present a new amphibious boat with record-breaking characteristics – Iguana Pro for the Navy and emergency services. The total power of its two engines is 900 hp. With their help, the boat can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h, while the version for the Navy has six seats, and the civil one has two.
The" land " capabilities of Iguana are much more modest. To move on land, the amphibious boat uses Kevlar-reinforced rubber tracks connected to the hull by strong retractable hydraulic struts. Once in the water, the tracks rise up and go to the sides, providing the boat with minimal resistance.

The tracks are designed for almost any type of soil – soft sand, mud and even stones covered with moss. With their help, Iguana can overcome climbs with an inclination of up to 40 degrees, maintaining balance and stability.

It is quite clear that high speeds are out of the question on the highway. According to the developers, the tracks for Iguana are just a means to stop by the garage or get ashore to wait out a strong storm, after which, without a tow, they will return to their element again, where it has no equal in speed and maneuverability.
