Vladivostok. June 29. INTERFAX-FAR EAST-Diesel submarines of the Primorsky Flotilla of the heterogeneous forces of the Pacific Fleet (TOPF) conducted an exercise in the waters of the Sea of Japan, having worked out the use of anti-submarine means of a submarine when attacking a submarine of a conditional enemy, the press service of the fleet reported.
"In the combat training range, one of the submarines of the Pacific Fleet worked out the search and attack of a submarine of a conditional enemy when using the latter means of sonar counteraction," the report says.
The diesel submarine detected the "enemy" submarine and conditionally attacked it with torpedoes from a favorable position.
The second submarine performed an evasive maneuver. "The submariners worked out the task of breaking away from the pursuit with conditional interference and false targets," the report says.
