The border incident off the coast of Crimea was removed from the Defender.
There was a report by the BBC correspondent Jonathan Beale, who was on board the destroyer Defender during yesterday's incident off the coast of Crimea. At the beginning of the plot, apparently just for the camera, the crew members load the ship's artillery gun and rocket launchers. Then a Russian patrol ship appears in the frame, which is chasing a British destroyer. At some point, he comes as close to the ship as possible.
It is clearly visible how Su-24 bombers fly near the destroyer. One of the sailors admits in an interview with a correspondent that the planes looked threatening. You can also hear an appeal to the crew of Russian border guards in English in the report. They demand to leave the zone and warn that otherwise they will open fire.
It is significant that the sailors immediately after that put on white masks and gloves, or as they are called in the British Navy, Protective Face Shield FROG (fireproof balaclavas). They are used in case of a fire threat on the ship.
The sound of a shot fired by a boat is also clearly audible in the plot.
The report also includes footage of the incident taken by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
