ST. PETERSBURG, June 24. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov Group of Companies (GC) (part of the Rostec state Corporation) is developing a reconnaissance and strike contour, which will include the latest boats of the BK family, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and shooting automation tools. This was reported to TASS by the Kalashnikov press service during the International Naval Salon (MVMS-2021).
"Work is underway on the joint use of BC [boats] with unmanned systems and work on automating the firing control," the press service said.
A remote-controlled combat module (DUBM) can be installed on the BC boat built into the new circuit, Kalashnikov noted. "The development of DUBM for boats is underway. The choice of a specific module model is the prerogative of the customer, " the GC reported.
The boats of the BK family are the most modern examples of marine equipment of this class of Russian production. They are produced by the Rybinsk Shipyard (part of the Kalashnikov Group of Companies).
The tenth International Naval Salon (IMMS) opened on Wednesday at the Expoforum International Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg, it will run until June 27.
