ST. PETERSBURG, June 23. /TASS/. The new ship's automated control system (CASU) 3R-60U-1155 will be installed on the frigate of the project 1155M "Admiral Vinogradov" of the Pacific Fleet. This was announced by the General director of the Granit-Electron Concern (part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation) in an interview with TASS at the International Naval Salon (MVMS-2021)in St. Petersburg Igor Ponomarev.
"In the near future, it is planned to supply the KASU 3R-60U-1155 to the frigate Admiral Vinogradov," the head of the enterprise said.
According to him, "Granit-Electron" participated in the modernization of the first ship of the project 1155 "Marshal Shaposhnikov" in the version 1155M.
"We installed the Purga-1155M anti-submarine weapon control system and the ship's 3R-60U-1155 automated control system on the Marshal Shaposhnikov frigate. Now the ship with our upgraded complexes is on combat service as part of the Pacific Fleet, " Ponomarev said.
As previously stated by the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Sergei Avakyants, "Admiral Vinogradov" will receive new missile weapons and air defense systems.
Earlier, a source in the military-industrial complex said that the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Vinogradov, following the example of Marshal Shaposhnikov, will become a frigate by 2025, having received Kalibr-NK cruise missiles to increase its strike capabilities.
