"The question to the British sailors is why are you staging a provocation?" Komoyedov said.
"The British have entered our territorial waters. Fiolent is the Crimea. The British had no right to act like this, " Komoyedov said.
"At first, according to practice, the British were warned several times through the international channel that they were violating the territorial waters of Russia, going the wrong course. They were asked to change course, they did not. Our border guards and the military had every right to open a warning fire, " the admiral said.
"In general, this is not done - I'm talking about the British. At sea, we must respect each other, " Komoyedov said.
