The first serial strategic missile submarine of the project 955A (code "Borey-A") "Prince Oleg" will perform at least six trips to the sea during factory and state tests. This was reported to TASS by a source in the shipbuilding industry on the sidelines of the International Naval Salon (MVMS-2021).
"During the tests, at least six trips to the sea will be performed," he said.
The press service of Sevmash (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation), where the submarines of this project are being built, did not comment on the source's information.

Currently, there are four missile carriers of the 955/955A projects in the combat composition of the Russian Navy. In addition to the Knyaz Oleg, three more boats of the 955A project are at Sevmash in different stages of construction. Each of the boats of projects 955/955A carries 16 Bulava ICBMs.
