ST. PETERSBURG, June 23. /TASS/. The United Engine Corporation (UEC) of Rostec will supply the state customer with about 20 M90FR gas turbine engines (GTD) for equipping surface ships. This was reported to TASS by the corporation on the eve of the start of the International Naval Salon (MVMS-2021).
"Today, the planned volume of deliveries is about 20 GTD M90FR," the UEC noted.
They stressed that the corporation can fully supply the state customer with gas turbine engines and gas turbine units in the required volumes.
A number of Russian surface ships, including the latest frigates of the project 22350, are equipped with M90FR gas turbine engines. UEC has also developed a modification of this engine for installation on corvettes of the project 20386.
