Exercises of the Russian Navy formations will be held in the Aniva Bay in the south of Sakhalin

YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, June 17-RIA Novosti. The exercises of the formations of the Russian Navy will be held in the Aniva Bay (south of Sakhalin) from June 19 to 22, the press service of the government of the Sakhalin region reported on Thursday.

"Practical artillery firing of surface ships of the Russian Navy at coastal targets will be conducted at the training ground from June 19 to 22 (reserve from June 23 to 24), 2021," the report says.

The press service warns local residents about the closure of the square where the exercises are planned, in order to prevent accidents.
