TSAMTO, June 15. The frigate "Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov" completed the tasks of the inter-fleet transition and moored on June 13 in Kronstadt.
The frigate's transition from the Northern Fleet to the Baltic Fleet lasted more than a week. During this time, the North Sea sailors improved their naval training, and also conducted a number of ship exercises on various types of defense of a single ship at sea crossing. The crew of the ship's Ka-27 helicopter worked several flight shifts from the frigate in the Atlantic Ocean.
It is planned that in the area of responsibility of the Baltic Fleet, the frigate "Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov "will take part in the Tenth International Naval Salon"MVMS-2021".

The frigate "Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov" was built at the shipbuilding enterprise "Severnaya Verf" in St. Petersburg. It was laid down in 2010 and launched in 2014. At the end of 2018, he began factory sea trials, which took place in the area of responsibility of the Baltic and Northern Fleets.
Last year, on the eve of the Navy Day, the St. Andrew's flag was solemnly raised on the frigate. The ship is assigned to the division of missile ships of the Northern Fleet – the largest formation of surface ships of the Russian Navy.
In April of this year, the frigate "Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov" returned from the first long-range cruise, during which it worked out the tasks of naval exercises in cooperation with other ships of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea, in the Atlantic and in the Arctic, the press service of the Northern Fleet reports.
