Brussels. June 14. INTERFAX - The participants of the NATO summit in the final communique accused Russia of an aggressive position on the world stage, supported, in particular, by the modernization of the nuclear arsenal.
"Russia has continued to diversify its nuclear arsenal," the statement said.
The document states that " Russia continues to resort to aggressive and irresponsible nuclear rhetoric."
"Russia's strategy with regard to nuclear weapons, the modernization and diversification of its nuclear weapons, as well as the increase in the quantity and quality of its arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons, are increasingly supporting Russia's more aggressive position. This country is engaged in strategic intimidation, " it says.
The document also refers to the intensification of "hybrid" actions on the part of the Russian Federation aimed at NATO and its partners. According to the summit participants, it is about disinformation, interference in democratic processes, political and economic pressure on some countries.
