"During the practical action draw, the BMPT crews will work out the tasks of using Terminators in the combat formations of tank units with firing in various tactical situations," the report says.

In December 2020, the press service of the Uralvagonzavod Corporation (UVZ, Rostec) told Interfax that the first batch of the Terminator BMPT had entered the Russian Armed Forces - the 90th Tank Division. "In terms of its combat effectiveness, one BMP will replace 2 BMP and a motorized rifle platoon," the concern said at the time.
The BMPT was adopted by the Russian Ground Forces in 2018.

"Terminator" for the Russian army was created on the nodes and aggregates of the main T-90A tank.
It was reported that the "Terminator" was used in a military operation in Syria.
In December 2018, the source reported on the supply of BMPT to one of the African countries. According to him, under this contract, the "Terminators" are delivered on the nodes and units of the T-90 tank - as well as to the Russian army.
A batch of BMPT of the previous modification (based on the T-72 tank) in 2011 was bought from Russia by Kazakhstan.
The 90th Panzer Division was formed in 2016. Its units are stationed in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions. The main striking power of the division is 10 tank battalions, in total-more than 300 tanks.
