Specialists of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant are preparing to withdraw the project 20380 "Sharp"corvette from the slipway shop.
As reported by Mil.Press FLOT with reference to the press service of the enterprise, the next stage of construction of the ship will continue at the completion pier.
"The body of the order has been finalized, its underwater part has been completely painted and presented to the customer's representative," said Razhden Baratashvili, senior builder of the order. - The preliminary installation of the shaft line and diesel-diesel units has been completed on the ship, their final installation will be carried out already afloat, after the ship is put to the completion embankment. At the same time, the builders will begin the installation of the tower-mast complex. Construction certificates for work on the installation of the steering device are closed. The pitching calms are mounted. Installation of the GAS block module has been completed."
The corvette, which is being prepared for transfer to the completion slipway, continues to install electrical equipment, turn it on and desolder cables. Work is underway on the formation of the ship's service and household rooms, equipment and furniture are being installed in the cabins, the press service of the ASZ added.
The "Sharp" corvette is the fourth corvette of Project 20380, which ASZ is building for the Pacific Fleet. It was laid down in 2016, and the transfer to the Navy is expected before the end of 2021.
The length of the project 20380 corvettes is more than 100 meters, the displacement is 2220 tons. They are able to make hikes with a range of up to 4,000 miles. Armament – anti-ship missile system "Uran" and SAM "Redut", torpedoes and a powerful arsenal of radar and electronic equipment, 100-mm artillery installation AK-190, heavy machine gun and grenade launchers.
