To implement the project, we need a state order, said Alexey Rakhmanov, General Director of the company
ST. PETERSBURG, June 8. /TASS/. Design bureaus and enterprises belonging to the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) are able to develop and build underwater robotic systems for the protection of the Arctic shelf and drilling platforms. This was announced by the company's CEO Alexey Rakhmanov in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"This is one of our favorite topics - underwater robots. From this point of view, there is no doubt, " Rakhmanov said, answering the question whether USC enterprises are ready to build an underwater robot to protect the marine areas of the Arctic continental shelf.
At the same time, he noted that for the implementation of this project, a state order is needed.
"The project must first be developed in a human way, and then start construction. Moreover, we saw for ourselves the need to create a highly specialized center for robotics, " Rakhmanov added.
