The active phase of mooring tests began on the oceanographic research vessel "Eugene Goriglejan", which is being built at the Baltic shipyard" Yantar " in Kaliningrad.
According to the press service of the plant, the equipment continues to be switched on and configured. More than two hundred people work on board every day.
The vessel was built as a result of the repair and re-equipment of the MB-305 rescue tugboat of the B-92 project. Laid down on 19 March 2016, launched in December 2020. Named after the general designer of special-purpose nuclear submarines in the Central Design Bureau of the MT "Rubin" Yevgeny Alekseevich Goriglejan (1934-2014).
The vessel should be delivered to the customer - the Main Directorate of Deep - Sea Research of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation-this year.

The OIS "Evgeny Goriglejan" is being built according to the project 02670, developed in the CMKB "Almaz". The vessel of this project is intended for underwater technical work, environmental monitoring of the marine environment, oceanographic survey of the bottom layer, and assistance to the search and rescue forces at sea. It is capable of taking on board underwater and rescue vehicles.
Displacement-4 thousand tons, length-81 meters, width-16 meters, autonomy-30 days, crew-32 people and 25 members of the expedition.
