Moscow. June 3. INTERFAX-The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) will deliver nine ships to the Russian Navy in 2021, the head of the USC, Alexey Rakhmanov, said.
"This year, our program includes seven delivery orders - these are from the areas of new products and plus two more from repairs, so the program is quite large," Rakhmanov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 channel (VGTRK). According to him, USC last year handed over 11 ships and vessels-eight of which are "new construction".
"Our program today continues to be so intense, so long-term, from this point of view, we see the loading of the corporation's shipyards confidently until 2028," Rakhmanov said.
