Kaliningrad. May 31. INTERFAX-The ship composition of the Baltic Fleet (BF) this year may be replenished with two ships armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, the head of the press service of the Baltic Fleet, Captain 1st rank Roman Martov, told Interfax.
"At the meeting of the Military Council of the Baltic Fleet, which was held under the leadership of the fleet Commander, Admiral Alexander Nosatov, it was noted that by the end of this year, the fleet is expected to receive two multi-purpose Su - 30SM fighters, as well as two small missile ships (MRC), the main armament of which is the Kalibr cruise missile system," Martov said.
According to him, these will be MRK projects 22800 "Kozelsk" and MRK project 21631 "Grad", which are being built, respectively, at JSC "Pella" and JSC "Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky". Currently, both ships have already been launched and are preparing for mooring tests.
