The head of the department expressed hope for the continuation of Russian-American cooperation in the comic field. He called the relations between the two states "outstanding".
"Even when relations between the two countries on the earth's surface are going through a difficult period, we seem to get along quite well in space," Nelson concluded.
Earlier, Roscosmos proposed to abandon the International Space Station because of the high cost. The state corporation estimated that after 2025, an avalanche-like failure of the ISS systems will begin, as a result of which further maintenance of the station will cost 10-15 billion rubles.
