Russia continues to develop a promising new-generation manned spacecraft, gradually revealing its characteristics. As it became known, the "Eagle" will be able to fly around the home planet for about a year. In the case of the Moon, this figure should be six months.
The total service life of the returned device is ten years. For the entire ship, if you conduct inter-flight maintenance, the service life will be at least five.
The ship "Eagle" (formerly known as "Federation") began to create in 2009. According to the plans, the first test flight in unmanned mode, it should perform in 2023. The launch will be carried out from the new Russian Vostochny cosmodrome, using a heavy-class rocket "Angara-A5". The first manned launch is scheduled for 2025.
Now the "Eagle" has potential tasks (in addition to supplying the ISS, which may be abandoned in the foreseeable future): earlier, Russia decided to build a national space station, and together with China, it intends to explore the Earth's satellite.
