The American company SpaceX has conducted 100 successful launches of the Falcon 9 heavy rocket in a row, according to Ars Technica.
The publication notes that the last launch of the carrier took place on May 26, when the Starlink satellites were delivered to Earth orbit.
The last accident with the launched Falcon 9 was observed in June 2015, when due to problems in the second stage of the rocket, the Dragon spacecraft was lost, heading to the International Space Station.
Nevertheless, the publication recalls that in September 2016, the Falcon 9, still on the launch table and not launched, exploded, resulting in the destruction of the Amos-6 satellite. If the countdown is carried out from that moment, the company managed to make 91 successful starts in a row.
According to Ars Technica, in 2021, SpaceX managed to conduct 16 launches, of which six took place in the last 34 days.
In December 2020, the publication reported that in the same year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the company broke its own record for the number of rocket launches in 2018.
