He noted that a number of countries are working to increase the number of cruise missiles on carriers.
Novikov also said that the American X-37 spacecraft can carry nuclear warheads. "It is officially stated that these devices are created for various scientific purposes, well, and intelligence. But we understand that, having such a free capacity and capabilities, according to our estimates, a small device can carry up to three nuclear warheads, a large one - up to six," the head of the concern said.
He recalled that the United States plans to increase the number of such devices by 2025. "This is a serious challenge," Novikov said.
