Moscow. May 22. INTERFAX - Turkish Bayraktar drones were able to prove themselves during the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the lack of local military systems to combat them, said Yan Novikov, General Director of JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey".
"They are low-speed, huge, with a wingspan of 12 meters. Due to the fact that the weapons in Nagorno - Karabakh are not the most advanced, they did not have effective means of confrontation," Novikov said at the New Knowledge forum on Saturday.
According to him, such a drone is not a difficult target for air defense systems, but it puts a load on them.
