Giant on wheels: heavy armored car TA2320 presented in China

China has created a multi-axle universal heavy-duty armored car. The other day, its presentation took place.

The new product was developed by Taian Special Vehicle, a company specializing in the production of heavy-duty vehicles.

Judging by the characteristic desert camouflage, the model, called TA2320, is intended primarily for export supplies, although purchases directly by the Chinese army are not excluded.

This special vehicle has a good cross-country ability, as it has a wheel formula of 8x8. The cabin with armored glass is equipped with four doors, behind it is located the engine and transmission compartment.

In the landing compartment, eight windows are cut, some of which are adapted for shooting from small arms. There is a hatch in the stern for entry and exit.

The design of the bottom provides maximum protection against various types of mines and improvised explosive devices. Measures have been taken to reduce the likelihood of fuel tank fires.

There is no remote-controlled module with any weapons on the roof yet.

The total weight can reach 32,000 kg. The maximum speed on the highway is 105 km/h.

A special feature of this development is that the armored car can be equipped with a tracked robotic system equipped with various special equipment and weapons.

Earlier it was reported about the creation of the Norinco corporation similar to the Russian "Typhoon-K" three-axle armored vehicle VP22.
