TSAMTO, May 19. The engineering division of the combined arms Army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) received the integrated water treatment plant SKO-10 "Hygiene".
The special equipment of the station is mounted on the basis of the KamAZ-6350 vehicle and includes water purification, desalination and disinfection units, electric pumps, auxiliary equipment, as well as a set of spare parts and accessories.
The station is designed for water purification from natural pollutants, organic poisons, including toxic substances, disinfection from bacteria and viruses, including pathogenic and bacterial means of mass destruction. The machine is capable of producing up to 10 m3 of drinking water per hour. All work processes in the station are fully automated.
An important feature of the station is the presence of a line for packaging water in small plastic containers for individual provision of military personnel with drinking water.
According to the specialists of the engineering troops, the special equipment of the SKO-10 station is able to fully provide clean water to more than 1 thousand servicemen in the field around the clock, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
