The "Shot" armored car received the "Spitsa" combat module"

Russian protected armored vehicles of special purpose K-43269 "Shot" continue to improve. At the parade in Nizhny Novgorod dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, among the new products from the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" you could see the latest version.

It is equipped with an uninhabited combat module "Spitsa" with ammunition of several hundred high-explosive and armor-piercing tracer shells. Its complete isolation from the habitable compartments dramatically increases the chances of survival of the crew and the landing party in the event of defeat.

A similar product is mounted on an armored vehicle "Typhoon-Airborne". It is also armed with a well-proven in many wars and conflicts 30-mm rapid-fire gun 2A42 and 7.62-mm machine gun 6P7K. There is a modern sight with tele-thermal imaging channels, a laser rangefinder.

However, there is also a difference, which consists in the installation of an AG-30 automatic grenade launcher on the left side of the tower, which allows you to effectively fight the enemy's manpower.

Recently, it was reported that in Syria, for the first time, a "Shot" was seen with the MB2-04 combat compartment. During the festive parade at the Russian air base Khmeimim, K-43269 armored cars were also presented.
