The combined Arms association of the Southern Military District (SE) in the Kuban and the North Caucasus has been replenished with a separate regiment of radiation, chemical and biological (RCHB) protection, the press service of the district reported. The regiment is equipped with more than 200 units of weapons and equipment.
"A separate regiment of radiation, chemical and biological protection has joined the combat structure of the combined arms association of the Southern Military District (SE), stationed in the Kuban and the North Caucasus. The regiment includes units of the RCB reconnaissance, special processing, aerosol counteraction and flamethrower units, " the report says.
It is noted that the new regiment is equipped with more than 200 units of weapons, military and special equipment.
The press service of the district specified that the equipment includes automotive chemical laboratories, reconnaissance vehicles, as well as heavy flamethrower systems of multiple launch fire and rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers.
It is also specified that the regiment is able to perform the entire range of tasks of the RCB protection without involving additional forces.
