In the Amur region, the first military echelon of the 573rd separate railway mechanization battalion of the 48th separate railway brigade arrived at the Dugda station of the Far Eastern Railway, which departed from the Strela station from the Omsk Region.
The servicemen are faced with the task of filling the embankment for the construction of the second branch of the Baikal-Amur Railway (BAM).
The train consisting of 31 cars, including two passenger cars, 24 platforms, four covered cars, a kitchen car, delivered personnel, 23 units of automobile and special equipment, trailers for household needs, material resources, food and everything necessary for the deployment of a field camp.
The military echelon from the departure station to the destination station covered more than 4.7 thousand km.
The primary task of the arriving military personnel is to unload the cargo within the established time frame, to prevent excess use of the rolling stock for cargo operations, to deploy a communication center and a field camp for living, as well as to prepare a site for the construction of a block-modular town for comfortable living of military personnel.
