According to the results of the winter training period of the 2021 academic year, the servicemen of the Airborne Troops made more than 65 thousand parachute jumps.
Under the guidance of specialists of the Airborne Airborne service, about 140 units of military equipment, weapons and cargo were landed.
The intensity of combat training in the winter training period of this year was characterized by a greater intensity in comparison with the same period of training last year.
The landing of personnel and equipment from various types of aircraft and helicopters of military transport and army aviation was carried out during planned classes in airborne and combat training, as well as during command and staff, tactical and tactical-special exercises of various levels.
So, in April of this year, during the interspecific exercise of Airborne troops with the troops of the Southern Military District, held at the Opuk training ground in the Republic of Crimea, more than 2 thousand military personnel and 60 units of combat and special equipment were landed from 40 IL-76md military transport aircraft.
During the summer training period, the military personnel of the Airborne Troops, during combat training, will take part in command and staff, tactical and tactical-special exercises of various levels with mass landing of personnel and equipment, the information support group of the Airborne Forces noted.
