Vladivostok. May 1. INTERFAX-AVN-Two detachments of warships of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) left Vladivostok on a long-distance trip to the Asia-Pacific region, the press service of the fleet reported on Saturday.
The first group includes the flagship of the Pacific Fleet, the missile cruiser "Varyag" and the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov". The second group of ships is formed from the corvettes of the project 20380 "Perfect" and "Loud", the report says.
"During the voyage, a number of exercises and trainings are planned, and business calls of Russian ships to the ports of foreign countries are also planned," the fleet said.
The large sea tanker "Boris Butoma"will provide the activity of the detachments in the far ocean zone.
