The governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako held a working meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, as the head of the region himself announced on his Instagram page.
In particular, the meeting focused on providing the Progress aviation plant with a state defense order.
"The Minister of Defense said that the plant will be provided with the necessary volume of orders in 2022-23. This is the most important decision for the company's employees, residents of Arsenyev, and for the country's efficiency in general, " the governor stressed.

The subject of discussion at the meeting was the opening of the military-patriotic clubs "Avangard" in Primorye, where young people will be able to get basic skills of military training. It is assumed that the centers will appear in several cities of the region, the population of which is more than 100 thousand people. Children from localities close to the cities will be able to come to these centers. And the central club will open in Vladivostok.
