TSAMTO, April 29. The connection of the ships of the protection of the water area of the Troops and forces in the North-East of Russia (OKVS) has been replenished with another new anti-sabotage boat of the Grachonok project.
Already the third boat of this type will serve in the squadron to combat sabotage forces and means of the OKVS.
The boats of the project 21980 have been providing reliable protection of the bases of ships, vessels and submarines of the Pacific Fleet in Kamchatka for several years and have proven themselves well in the difficult weather conditions of the region.
The new boat was built at the Vostochnaya Verf shipyard in Vladivostok. It is designed to combat underwater sabotage forces and enemy means, to ensure the actions of combat swimmers in the waters of the bases and nearby approaches to them. "Grachonok" is equipped with modern electronic weapons and the latest diving system, which allow you to detect and examine underwater objects.
The main tactical and technical data: displacement-138 tons, length-31 m, width-9.5 m, full speed-23 knots, cruising range-200 miles, autonomy-5 days, crew-8 people, according to the Department of Information Support of the Primorsky region (Vladivostok).
